There can be no denying the disconnect that’s grown between consumers and their understanding of the way their food is produced. Farmers, particularly in the livestock sectors, are at risk of losing their social licence to operate, and the problem is only perpetuated through food marketing.

Who is Engage for?

Engage™ is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of individuals and teams working across the food, agriculture and land use sectors. It’s particularly valuable for: 

  • Farmers and farm advisers: Those interacting directly with consumers (such as through farm shops, vending machines, campsites, etc.) or those dealing with larger, intensive production systems that may face public or activist scrutiny. 
  • Consumer marketing and communications teams: Professionals tasked with building brands and managing organisational reputation in sectors that see consumer concerns and NGO challenge. 
  • Agriculture and sustainability teams: People building relationships with farmers and suppliers to deliver change, whether that’s through sustainability initiatives or new contracts.
