Phil co-founded Twig (then known as Reverberate) back in 2007 – learn more about the story here. He’s now been working in the agriculture and food industries for close to three decades.
After studying agriculture at Seale-Hayne, Phil held positions within the NFU, ADAS and leading dairy co-operatives, cultivating an extensive knowledge of the agricultural industry – and a passion for helping the industry secure a safe, sustainable future.
In addition to heading up Twig, Phil’s a Chartered Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a Professional Fellow of the Institute of Agricultural Management. He’s also completed both the General Management Programme and the Business Growth Programme at Cranfield University Business School (where he studied as a Worshipful Company of Farmers scholar.) Never one to shy away from a practical qualification, Phil’s also a licensed CowSignals® Master trainer, a certified Climate Reality Leader and a licensed Engage™ trainer.
Today, Phil spends his time working with Twig’s clients to develop and implement communication and marketing strategies. So, whether you’re meeting in a barn or a boardroom, you’ll find him just as happy – the only thing that changes is the footwear.
When he's not working, he can be found driving his old Land Rover, helping Mel on the farm, or daydreaming about sailing (preferably somewhere warm!)
We’re pleased to announce a fresh new look and name. The next few years will see transformational change in agriculture.
We're ready to play our part.
