Emily Ball

Another Twig team member with strong agricultural roots, Emily delivers a combination of effective campaign management and practical day-to-day communications activity, underpinned by more than 20 years of experience in agricultural communications.

Emily studied agricultural business management at Seale Hayne before a spell in PR and work with the RABDF. She spent 15 years working extensively for AHDB Dairy (in-house and freelance roles) and other clients across the agricultural industry. She completed her Nuffield Scholarship in 2003, and has also gained valuable international experience, spending a year working in the dairy industry in New Zealand. 

Today, Emily and her husband are partners in a high yielding dairy unit in Staffordshire. Living and working on a dairy farm gives her invaluable technical and practical knowledge, as well as a real-time understanding of the evolving needs of farmers, which translates into impactful strategy and results for her Twig clients.

When she’s not working, Emily enjoys cheering from the try line as her two boys play rugby, as well as watching and scoring cricket. She (still!) plays netball for a local team and enjoys walking.
